Feedback & requests
Tell us what tool you wish existed, report a bug, or suggest an idea. Every message is read.
ChestnutBear is built around what people actually need, so this page is the main way to shape it. The tools you see on the site started as problems someone had — a calculation that was tedious, an existing tool that demanded a login or buried the answer in ads. If that describes something in your work, tell us.
How to write a request we can act on
- Describe what you are trying to do, not just the feature. The job matters more than the button.
- Tell us what annoys you about the tools that already exist — the login, the watermark, the ads, the wrong units.
- If you can, give a small real example: the numbers you type in and the answer you expect out.
What we build
Small, accurate tools that run entirely in your browser — no login, no install, and your data never leaves your device. So far that includes:
- CBM & container loading — volume, chargeable weight and how many cartons fit a container — for foreign trade and logistics.
- China coordinate converter — batch conversion between WGS84, GCJ-02 and BD-09.
- qPCR ΔΔCt — relative quantification from pasted Ct tables, for molecular-biology labs.
- Molarity & dilution — solution preparation maths with unit conversion.
What happens after you send
Every message is read. There is no public comment thread, so nothing you write appears on the site. If you leave an email we may reply; if not, we still use it to decide what to build next. Good tool requests tend to become tools within a week or two.
